This is a photo i took on the M11 using long exposure, i like it because you don't have much control over the outcome but somehow they always look quite cool!
This is perhaps quite an obvious example of colour and light but its a photograph that I am quite proud of. I like the contrast between the foreground and background and the vibrance.

I think the picture of the electric looking light works well. The shape of the light is very stiking and reminds me of lightning, which is a short burst of light, so it relates well. Also it could be sound waves, which literally suggests "screaming" colour and light. By using two colours I think you have achieved one aspect that I didn't, which was combining a sense of light and colour.
